Sharing and Importing Teams

Sharing and Importing Scene Collections

You can share teams (including logos and players) to other users/devices. Teams are shared as JSON code (a type of document used to document the collection make up) and can be shared via email, the Messages app, AirDrop, etc.

Team code modifications

Modifying a team's JSON code and importing it into the app could cause the app to crash or become unusable. We strongly discourage trying to manually modify a teams's code, or trying to import JSON data that was not generated by the app.

Sharing Teams

To share a team, select it from the list on the Teams setting screen, and tap the "Share" button. This will open up the iOS Share interface, allowing you to choose how to send the file, and where to send it.

Importing Teams

To import a shared Team into the app, follow the steps below.

1. Tap the file (in your email or messages, or whereever it was shared with you).

You should see a preview of the file containing the JSON code for the team.

2. Tap the grey action button beside the file name

There will be a small rond button at the top of the screen beside the title of the file. This should open the actions meny for the file.

3. Tap the Open button at the top of the Action menu

The first option in the action drop down menu should be the Open button (a square with an arrow pointing up out of it)

4. Chose the SportStream Camera app top open the file in the app

Make sure the app is running

In order to import the collection into the app, make sure the app is running before tapping the SportStream Camera icon to open the shared file in the app.

Tap the SportStream Camera app icon to open the shared file in the app. You will be prompted to import the team.

5. Choose "Import" to add the collection to your list

Once you select "Import", you should see the new team at the bottom of the list on the Teams setting page.
